Delicious Berries & Tea Whiskey Smash
I recently returned from a trip to visit my sister and her family. While there, my niece, Maddie, made this delicious cocktail and taught me her recipe. (Yes, she is an adult.) It is a blend of muddled raspberries, Blackberry flavored whiskey and Lavender scented Earl Grey Tea combined to make a perfect balance of sweet, tart and smokey.
To begin, you will want to select a double old fashioned glass and add a teaspoon of sugar to the bottom.
After you add the sugar to the glass, drop in four or five raspberries or blackberries if you have them. We used the tart raspberry. You will want to muddle the raspberries with the sugar. You will end up with a mushy paste.
After the berries are muddled, it is time to add the ice.
Next up is to add 4 ounces of Bird Dog Blackberry Whisky. Oh man, this stuff is fantastic.
Now top it off with 4-6 ounces of brewed Earl Grey Lavender Tea
Stir your cocktail to fully incorporate all of the delicious components and enjoy!
